July Invitational Food Drive 14th–17th July

Splash out Hunger!

KING and Northwest Harvest food bank are coordinating on a summer food drive at the July Invitational at KCAC July 14-17.

The needs of families and children in our communities are often greater during the summer months. When school is out children are left without access to a guaranteed daily meal. Northwest Harvest  has calculated that 1.3 pounds of food or 22 cents serves one person one meal.

Patrick Knox swims at KM and he has already begun to collect food at Mattson Middle school in the Kent school district.

Have your swimmers look through the weekly coupons for super deals on canned goods and non perishable food items.
